Ty’Waun Burks

Founder / CEO

Ty’Waun “Ty” Burks leads E1S1’s vision and mission to provide faith-based healing and practical transformation through workshops, retreats, and community support—serving first responders, veterans, underserved communities, and families.

Scott Stewart

COO

Scott is a father and police officer who brings steady leadership and real-world service experience. He is also the co-founder of the Donuts and Bacon Podcast, using conversation and community to encourage those carrying heavy burdens.

Joyce Hemphill-Rowe

Secretary

Joyce is a mother, prophetess, former assistant pastor, and chef. She supports E1S1 with spiritual wisdom, compassionate care, and organizational excellence—helping create an environment where people can heal and rebuild.

Theopolis Batson

Board Member

Theopolis is a father, police officer, contractor, and security advisor. He brings strategy, structure, and safety-focused insight to strengthen E1S1’s impact and ensure integrity in how we serve the community.

Christie Svoboda

Social Media Director

Christie Svoboda serves as Social Media Director for Encourage 1 to Save 1, using strategic storytelling and digital outreach to expand awareness, strengthen community engagement, and amplify the organization’s mission. A graduate in Mass Communication from the University of Central Oklahoma, she brings experience in branding, public relations, and audience growth. As the wife of a Police Chief and founder of Support Behind the Lines, Christie is deeply committed to supporting first responders and their families through advocacy, wellness initiatives, and meaningful connection. Her passion is using media with purpose to inspire action and create lasting impact.
